Oh dearest...this is truly divine, and yes, PINK makes me very happy, especially when beautifully displayed as such!!!! Isn't this a fun thing to do...to pursue art and how it makes us feel, how we can use it in our homes...Ruben and I are always arranging something or trying to get the right look! I THOUGHT OF YOU YESTERDAY as we were going all over town in St. Paul. We came across a sign that directed us a mile or two up the road for DESIGNER FURNITURE SALE! We found the address of the place, went up to it and peered inside. OMG. IT WAS ALL YOU DEAREST! Mirrored tables and nightstands....gorgeous chairs in French style, BUT THEY WERE CLOSED!!!! I wasn't able to see what was in the back, to see if they had your dream bed!!! It was fun however, to see such beautiful furniture so close up.
Yes, we had a lovely Sunday, we went to the zoo and saw our polar bears and had a blast. A fine dinner at home, with a lazy evening ahead and this morning, I played my harp for about 2 hours straight. What a luxury! WE ARE GOING OUT AGAIN to look for a CHAIR like what you have featured here! Sans CQ fabric of course, but if we find something that is suitable, we can upholster it with Karen's fabric!!!!
Have a fun day dear Brenda, and thank you for visiting! Anita
I'm dying to use some pink in the house but always hold myself back in consideration of the hubs. But I don't know if I can hold out much longer! BTW, have I told you how much I love the name of your blog? And that I have two Frenchies? ;)
Oh how fun to see your comment today!!! Oh, we did have a blast with our polar bears. They posed so pretty for us behind the nice THICK and SAFETY glass! We enjoyed ourselves for several hours and then puttered around town! We had gone back to that shop, but no go....they must be by appointment only. BUT! Today, we were out again on the other side of the Twin Cities and we found not ONE chair, but TWO!!! We found the exact chair I was looking for...the French chair with the arms, the carving on the legs and back....and striped material!!! ANd the material is light in color...so perfect.
These two chairs for under.......$300!!!
Needless to say, we had a blast. I saw sos much mirrored furniture, but I did not see your dream bed. I WILL KEEP MY EYES OPEN FOR YOU!!!!
How is your weather? We are boiling here...it is the first real heatwave of the season for us.
Enjoy a cool drink, sit still and nap dearest....have a lovely evening and soak up all the fun before school starts; I start at the end of August and I need to get my classroom in order!
