Bon Weekend, Plus Couture Cocktails

I hope you had a wonderful week!  The weekend is upon us and time to relax and have fun.

I plan to have dinner with a girlfriend tomorrow evening and, hopefully, have time for a bike ride or two in the beautiful weather we're forecast to have.

I love this photo of Paris.  As I mentioned yesterday, I'm missing Paris... as always, but more so this week since it has been 1 year today since our last visit.  We're looking at our schedule and hope to plan something but in the meantime, this girl is going to dream...

Couture Cocktails

Atty Cocktail

1 1/2 oz gin

3/4 oz dry vermouth

1/2 tsp absinthe

1/2 tsp crème de violette

 lemon peel for garnish 

Combine gin, vermouth, absinthe and crème de violette in a shaker with ice; shake for 5-10 seconds. Strain into a chilled coupe glass and garnish with a lemon peel.
