Bon Weekend ~ Pretty Dots, Plus Couture Cocktails

Lately, have been admiring blouses in pretty dots.  This ensemble inspired me to create a similar look.

Equipment brand is a staple in my closet ~ they're pieces are versatile and classic.  I purchased this lovely polka dot blouse with a Peter Pan collar, similar here and here; these jeans ~ similar here, and here; layered with a golden pavé bracelet and bangles; and these booties {I can't say how much I love them!  I want them in brown too}, similar here, and how cute are these?

Couture Cocktails

1 ½ oz. St. Germain Elderflower liqueur
1 ½ oz. Pear Vodka
Chilled Champagne
Granulated sugar for the rim
1 lemon, wedged
1 pear, sliced

* Prepare your garnishes by slicing a lemon into wedges and the pear into rounds.
Tip: To prevent pear from discoloring, squeeze a lemon over cut slices.
* To prepare martini glasses, run a lemon wedge around the rim anddip into sugar.
*In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine St. Germain and Pear Vodka. Shake vigorously until well chilled.
* Strain into prepared martini glass and top with champagne.
* Garnish with a round of pear and a festive stir stick.
Sip and enjoy!

I hope your weekend if off to a perfect start!

  1. OMG! Yet another delicious sounding cocktail. Soon my cocktail tray will need an extension. But this is one drink I'm trying this weekend, especially since it's French!

    Cheers...and bottom's up!
